Captured in the eyes,
The fire of last days
Trapped for all time
Captured in the eyes,
Glimmers of night
Faintly shine
Captured in the eyes,
Heart in my hands
As the last light dies
Final dreams excise
From escaping breath,
Death smiles at us all
Icon of dark skies,
Lightning halo bright
As the Heavens
Love's eternal oath,
Written in blood and fire,
Burns like starlight
Quiet inside, the abyss shines
From the depths of the heart;
Throw a shadow
Captured in the eyes,
Storms crack the silence
Of my mind, gone wild
Captured in the eyes,
Tears bleed away everyday,
Life's a trial
Captured in the eyes,
Image caught in still repose
Of the dark.
