"Theories In Chaos: Masters Of Horror" by William Blake Vogel III
November 10, 2005 A.D.
The much anticipated SHOWTIME series "Masters Of Horror" has lived-up to insane expectations, and murdered them cruelly. Created by Mick Garris, this 13 episode cinema diablerie is a pretty much no-holds-barred effort. Some of the directors involved include John Carpenter, Joe Coscarelli, John Landis, and Tobe Hooper.
The debut cut was Joe Coscarelli's adaptation of the Joe R. Lansdale short, "Incident On And Off A Mountain Road." Some of the scenes are stunning, visually beautiful cinematography. This sublime quality makes the edge that much sharper on this tense tale of horror. It is a true work of art.
Overall, "Masters Of Horror" has the promise to be great. And so far, it's done it in bloody spades. Stay tuned.

A Monster Was Born....
Today I'm 33 years old. Don't feel older, just hairier and scarier.
