"Goddess Of Twilight"

Goddess of twilight,
Wondrous as the pale stars
In night's still repose
She haunts every thought,
Inspiration of all dreams--
My sweet desire
Beautiful, serene: she shapes the glories
Of this dark heart, casting her light
To the stillborn shadows
Muse sleeps below haunted dreams,
Silent and perfect--where unborn radiance
Waits for the dawning of recognition.
