Zombies Ain't Got No Brains"

As a whole, zombies are pretty uninteresting as far as monsters go.
They have no intelligence, or even basic animal cunning. They're
soulless automatons wandering around aimlessly destroying things.
George A. Romero refers them as the "working-class monster." But
really they're more like socialist creeps--brainlessly attacking
and attempting to infect anything not like them. Maybe that's why
it's so much fun watching their heads explode.
